Painful Exit began in late March of 2003. They played their first show at the Jesus
Place in Bethany on July 18th of that same year. Since then, they have performed many places, including more shows
at the Jesus Place, Surrey Hills Park, the Rockin' Roller Rink in Edmond, Piedmont Founder's Day Indoor Stage
(kicked off the stage halfway through the set), Destiny Christian Center in Del City, and Buzz's Subs in Norman.
Painful Exit draws influences from several different styles and bands and have been described
as 'really raw' and having 'lots of energy, passion, and stage presence'.
All band members hail from Piedmont with the exception of Sean, who lives in Del City. The band
